He manages funds from his family office, Diamond TechVentures LLC, which has enjoyed successful investment exits from the sale of Packet Island to Broadsoft, STEP Communications to Dolby Lab, and NextG to a PE Group, the IPO of New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE: EDU), and the merger of LGC Wireless with ADC Telecom (NASDAQ: ADCT).
He was previously the Managing Director of Crystal Ventures Fund III, active with a portfolio of public and private companies including SMIC Shanghai, LGC Wireless Beijing, Infinera, and Exavio.
He was the Chairman & CEO of SS8 Networks Inc., IP Communications, XaQti Semiconductor, CNet Technology Inc., and Combinet (ISDN Systems), each of which exited successfully.
