Formerly Executive Director, European Fund Solutions, for State Street Global Advisors Europe, Eric Michel led Pan-European business development for the investment management arm of State Street Corporation, the world’s leading provider of financial services to institutional investors with $1.9 trillion under management.
An Asian specialist, he served as President and Representative Director of State Street Global Advisors Japan, where he grew assets under management from $4 billion to $20 billion in 3 years, making Japan State Street’s most profitable investment center outside of the US.
He was also Head of Fund Management at State Street Banque, the corporation’s French investment management arm.
Prior to State Street, he was with France’s Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole, in a range of portfolio and asset management positions, both in France and Japan.
He is also a former strategic advisor and board member of AXA Rosenberg Investment Managers, Japan.

He graduated from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique or ENSAE, a French Grandes Ecole of engineering and a member of ParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology). He is also a qualified actuary, a member of the Institute of French Actuaries.
